Why did you join Drama Society?
I joined Drama Society because I wanted to build on my experience with acting and explore other theatrical opportunities. Since then I have worked on multiple productions and have also met my closest friends through DS. As an exec I hope to help provide the same opportunities and create a positive environment for other students as well.
I'm looking most forward to...
I am looking most forward to collaborating with all the new talented students joining Drama Society. I am also excited to continue acting onstage, and to see the shows we produce this season.
What do you enjoy outside of school, clubs, and work?
I enjoy writing songs, playing the piano and guitar, playing basketball, reading and watching movies. In addition to school, I also volunteer at a kids hospital. I love being able to connect with people whether it be through science or art.
Can you give some advice to students looking to get involved?
Go for it! Take risks, try something new and get involved. Don't let fear dictate the opportunites you take and don't take. Drama Society is a great space to either start or continue building your experience in theatre.
What is your favourite theatre show or play
My favourite show is Dear Evan Hansen. I would definitely recommend it to others. Crazy plot, but the music is great!
