Why did you join Drama Society?
I love theatre, and I love the community that the drama society has built! The culture is so fun and everyone is so great to work with, it makes me excited to be a part of all the commotion.
I'm looking most forward to...
I am most looking forward to DramaFest. I am incredibly competitive. and it really gives us the opportunity to push ourselves artistically!
What do you enjoy outside of school, clubs, and work?
Outside of school, I enjoy reading, writing (especially plays), and sewing. Recently, I've also been trying my hand at stand up comedy, which has been a really fun new adventure!
Can you give some advice to students looking to get involved?
Just show up! We run auditions throughout the year and we'd love to see you there! New faces are always welcome, regardless of experience.
What is your favourite theatre show or play?
I am absolutely obsessed with Josie Rourke and Robert Delamere's staging of Much Ado About Nothing. It's so funny and timeless, and it always makes me smile. It's such a great example of using unique staging and physical comedy to tell a story. Very skillfully done.
