Beth is ecstatic about meeting Ian, the son she gave up for adoption twenty-eight years ago. But Margaret, her sister with whom she lives, finds the reunion a bit fishy. When Ian and Fiona, his fiancé, come to visit, the first thing that Beth notices is the physical resemblance between her father and Ian. In addition, her father was a mechanic and so is Ian. Beth explains the circumstances surrounding the adoption. She also tries to get to know the couple. Ian was raised by loving parents. Fiona was abandoned by her parents and raised in foster homes. Beth and Margaret discover the real reason for the couple’s visit – the couple is hoping that Beth will pay for their expensive wedding and honeymoon to Hawaii. But Beth has very little money.
