Why did you join Drama Society?
I love Theatre. I joined the Drama Society because I’ve always loved theatre - the creativity, the storytelling, and the sense of community it builds. There’s something so special about the people you meet in drama; the collaboration, shared emotions, and long rehearsals create a unique bond you can’t find anywhere else. Being part of a group that values artistic expression and supports one another both on and off stage is what truly drew me in.
What are you looking forward to most this year?
This year, I’m looking forward to seeing the productions come to life and hopefully being part of that creative process again. I’m also really hoping for strong funding support so we can continue to put on ambitious, high-quality shows that showcase the talent and dedication within our Drama Society. MOST OF ALL, I’m excited to meet new members, collaborate with familiar faces, and continue building the welcoming, passionate community that makes this group so special.

What is your most memorable moment in Theatre?
My most memorable moment in theatre was co-directing Suspect to Change with DS. That production not only challenged me creatively but also introduced me to some of my closest friends. We faced obstacles, shared countless laughs, and grew stronger as a team throughout the process. By the end, it wasn’t just about the show itself - it was about the community we built and the memories we created together😛
What is the best play or musical you have watched and why?
The best musical I’ve ever watched has to be Wicked. I saw it live on Broadway about three years ago, and it was an unforgettable experience. The production value, music, and storytelling completely captivated me from start to finish. It was the first time I truly felt the emotional power of live theatre - how it can move, inspire, and connect an audience through performance. It reminded me why I fell in love with theatre in the first place.
